Dear Zach,

Thanks for the invitation to supper.  I’m delighted to take you up on it. As for the gift list, I probably need to put a few suggestions out there for whoever drew my name. I always like fruit, or a nice hand lotion or cologne, (lavender is my favorite scent).  And a fantasy wall calendar, either the J.R.R. Tolkien 2007 or Star Trek would be gratefully received.  If anyone wants to get clothes for me, I have lost enough weight so I am down to a size 22W or a large 20W, which corresponds to a 2X.  My shoe size is the same, 9 ½ or 10.  I’m not sure about new books, except maybe the new Susannah Clarke, “The Ladies of Grace a Dieu”.
